“Family DOES Matter!” – I believe safeguarding God’s design for the family will help secure our future. As the mom of seven children and wife for 30 years, I have worked as Executive Director since 2014 making my Christian values reality in state and local government. With 16 years of experience in political leadership and campaign work, I saw a need for Christians to step into roles that will influence society and public policy. I now develop strategy, sponsor outreach events and speak on the importance of life, religious freedom and traditional family values.
“God is good, and life is pretty much a wild adventure with Him. As a daughter of God, I am committed to loving Him and loving people. I fight for justice and righteousness every day in the public square, but first I seek after God, love and mercy with my whole being. Public policy and law are funnels through which we can see God, practice mercy and seek justice as we set up a basic infrastructure where citizens of our state and nation can thrive. We have a lot of work to do to rebuild the moral wall and get back to addressing practical issues in our government. I delight in being a part of this process with Colorado Family Action and its partners.”
“Millennials can make a difference given the right tools and the opportunity to be heard.” I currently attend Union University in Jackson, Tennessee and am studying Political Science and History. I have seen first-hand the potential in my generation to make a difference. But I’m also witness to the effects that a “watered down” education system has had on society. I am a passionate fighter for truth and as such, I feel so blessed to be able to take that passion and apply it in my work with CFA. The opportunity I have to defend my values by influencing policy and culture is something everyone should experience. CFA helps to make that possible on so many levels.
As a female athlete, I know about hard work and commitment. I have seen first hand how easily others can dictate the environment around you and how damaging that can be. To me, there is nothing more important than my family, my faith and the power that education can give. This is why I don’t shy away from voicing my convictions and trying to inform and influence my peers on the Christian values that Colorado Family Action works to uphold. And, this is why I am proud to be a Research Assistant with this organization. Because of their hard work and commitment, Colorado Family Action is making an impact…and making a difference.
