Every year, the legislature has the opportunity to affect our daily lives…religious freedom, life, marriage and family. Elected official’s beliefs are indicated by each vote they cast. In order to be an informed and engage citizenship, it is imperative that you educate yourself. You cannot vote for someone who shares your Christian values if you do not know where that person stands on important issues. The best way to educate yourself is to learn about what bills were before the legislature, what happened to them, and how your senators and representatives voted on each of those bills. Colorado Family Action’s sister organization CFA Foundation has put together this informative 2016 Legislative Vote Record. It is only through informed and active citizens that we can help defend pro-family issues at our State Capitol.
